We were required to lay a slab for a 3 storey block of flats to be built on.

What did we do?
We used a boom pump to pour 180m3 of C35 concrete. Using a boom pump allowed us to navigate the obstacles on the site – the pump went straight over the hoarding. It was very difficult to calculate an exact amount for a slab that size, so we provided our volumetric service, allowing the client to only pay for what they use. The job started at 7am, and finished at 6.30pm, accounting for 10 minutes of set up time and 30 minutes of clearing away and tidying up after we’d finished.
Results
The customer commented on our prompt arrival time and lack of mess. He noted that our large fleet meant we could complete the whole project in a day, unlike other companies he’d used.
